Swedes Fredrik Lindson and Torbjörn Håkansson (aka The Embassy) hadn’t released anything since their second full-length Tacking from back in 2005, so their new single and the news that they are set to release a new album on September 27th on Service come straight out of nowhere.  Life in the Trenches: The Other Side of 2001-2011 will include mainly unreleased songs and B-sides dating back to the band’s beginnings. But the duo isn’t just going to release some old tracks and recede back into the depths of another mysterious hiatus; they’ve announced plans for a LP of entirely new material that will drop sometime this winter.
