Galapagos - No Where Else
Galapagos (aka Jacob McNaughton) just dropped a new track off his upcoming EP Sounds Vol. 2. I knew that he’d been messing around with some jj samples, but this is far better than anything I’d imagined. Now I can’t wait for the new EP. Jacob’s quickly becoming a mastersampler as he continues to churn out brilliant loop-based jams. In this blissed-out tune he combines vocals from jj’s I’m The One/Money On My Mind with a synthy backbone via Gold Panda’s Before We Talked and some bass from Radiohead’s Everything In Its Right Place.
